Man kills his wife, son and daughter in Ujjain later committed suicide.
The family was attacked when they refused to kill the dog.
In Ujjain, a man killed his wife and two children. After this he committed suicide. Two other children of the couple saved their lives by running away. Initial information revealed that the accused had consumed alcohol. He attacked the family when they stopped him from killing the dog.
The incident took place late Saturday night in Baloda of Badnagar. The police, which reached the spot on Sunday morning, have started investigating the matter. It has been told that the dog was barking at Dilip Pawar living in Baloda. Enraged by this, he took a sword from the house and ran to kill the dog. When wife Ganga Pawar explained, the accused killed her.
On intervening, daughter Neha (17), then son Yogendra (14) was also attacked and killed with a sword. Two more children (son and daughter) present in the house ran to the terrace and saved their lives by jumping from there. Later Dilip also committed suicide by slitting his throat with a sword.
The children who ran away after saving their lives informed the people around. Police reached on the information of the people and entered the house by breaking the door. The bodies of husband, wife and their two children were lying inside. There was blood everywhere. The FSL team also reached the spot and investigated. The accused was a farmer by profession. Hospitalized Dilip’s son Tapendra told that the father used to drink alcohol and also used to play satta. Daughter Bulbul told that the father was drunk and ran with a sword to kill us.
