Chief Election Commissioner reached Bhopal with full bench: will review the preparations for assembly elections in Bhopal for three days

 

The full bench of the Election Commission has reached Bhopal on Monday to review the preparations for the assembly elections. Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan and a team of other officers received the full bench at Raja Bhoj Airport. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, Election Commissioner Anoop Chandra Pandey and Arun Goyal will review the election preparations by staying in Bhopal till 6th September.

The Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commissioner will first discuss the election preparations with the representatives of national and regional political parties of the state today. After this, a presentation will be given by Chief Electoral Officer Rajan in front of the full bench of the Election Commission regarding the election arrangements. Later, the Election Commission team will be involved in the programs regarding voter awareness and sweep related activities. On Tuesday, along with the Collector and LP of all the districts of the state, information about the election arrangements in the districts will be taken and there will be an election presentation.

A team of several officers had reached Bhopal late last night before the full bench meeting of the Election Commissioner began. These include Manoj Kumar Sahu Deputy Commissioner Election Commission, Anuj Kumar Chandak Joint Director Election Commission, Amit Kumar Secretary Election Commission, Senior Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma and Senior Election Commissioner Nitesh Vyas.
