Four Militants Killed in Drone Attack in North-West Pak
At least four militants were killed when a suspected US drone aircraft fire missiles in north-west Pakistan, reported BBC citing unnamed security officials.
Officials said that drone struck a militant compound in the North Waziristan tribal area, said report.
Report said citing locals that Taliban had killed two tribesmen accused of spying for the US in the same area.
Tribesmen said that one of the bodies found was that of tribal leader Malik Salah Khan and had a warning letter attached to it, said report.
“It said that whoever spied for America would meet the same fate,” a tribesman was quoted as saying.
Officials said that one body was found in the Datakhel area of North Waziristan, while the other was found near Mir Ali, about 20km (12 miles) from the main town of Miranshah, said report.
They said that the two men were shot several times in the head and their bodies dumped in the open, report said.
