Former Pak PM joined Nawaz Sharif’s Party
Islamabad: Pakistan’s former Premier Mir Zafrullah Jamali has joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Jamali announced his decision after a meeting on Saturday with PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif, who is set to become the Prime Minister.
He told reporters that he exchanged views with Sharif on matters relating to Blaochistan, including the formation of the provincial government and the leader who could be expected to be the Chief Minister there.
Sharif’s PML-N emerged the single largest party in the May 11 general elections. On Sunday, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, former Chief Minister of Sindh province, also decided to merge his party, People’s Muslim League (PML) with the PML-N.
