Evidence against India at a Suitable Time: Gilani

Swarmed by growing internal concerns, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Sunday promised to present evidence of alleged Indian involvement in Balochistan at “a suitable time”.

Speaking to the media in Multan, Gilani said the Balochistan issue figured during his talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh and was a part of the joint statement issued by the two sides.

Gilani said: “The evidence will be presented at a suitable time.”
In October, Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik had said that India was responsible for growing terror incidence in Balochistan.

Underlining Islamabad’s desires for good relations with all its neighbours and the resumption of the composite dialogue process with India, Gilani said dialogue was the only way forward.

Rubbishing reports of a military operation in Balochistan, Gilani said the ongoing action in Southern Waziristan will soon end.

He stressed that the country’s nuclear assets were completely safe.
