Pune Blast Toll Reaches 16 as One More Foreign Student Dies

A Sudanese student, who was wounded in the German Bakery blast in Pune, died on Wednesday at a hospital, taking the toll in the attack to 16, said media reports.

Reports said quoting sources that Anas Elphat Suleman, 21, who was a science student of Poona College, died at the Jehangir Hospital in the morning.

It may be mentioned that he is the fourth foreigner to die in the blast that rocked the popular eatery in Koregaon Park on February 13.

The blast claimed the lives of three other foreigners – a 26-year-old Sudanese student Amjad Elgazoli, an Italian woman Nadia Macerini and an Iranian man Sayyed Syed Khani.
