Bomb Kills One, Kandahar Attack Toll Mounts

A roadside bomb killed a Pakistani construction worker and wounded six of his compatriots on Sunday not far from the Pakistani consulate in Afghanistan’s southern city of Kandahar, said reports citing the police.

The roadside bombing occurred even as the death toll, from a series of attacks overnight by Taliban in various parts of Kandahar, rose to 35.
