10 Taliban Militants Killed in Afghan Airstrike

Airstrikes against Taliban militants left 10 insurgents dead in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktika province Wednesday night, said media reports citing a statement issued by the US-led Coalition press office on Thursday.

The airstrike was called in after armed militants attacked a coalition military convoy in Gomal district Wednesday night.

10 armed militants were killed on the spot.
