Shivraj Singh chouhan takes oath as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Creating history, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the third time. Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav administered oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath in Hindi in the name of God in the presence of VVIPs, representatives of religions, top industrialists, intellectuals and lakhs of state’s people at Jamboree Maidan here today. The occasion was profusely clapped by the massive gathering who also gave him standing ovation. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa.

Galaxy of VVIPs on the state attracted everyone’s attention. Those present there included former Deputy Prime Minister Shri Lal Krishna Advani, Shri Rajnath Singh, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Smt. Sushma Swaraj, in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Shri Ananth Kumar, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Raman Singh, Andhra Pradesh’s former Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu, Goa Chief Minister Shri Manohar Parricker, former Chief Minister Sushri Uma Bharti, Shri Murli Manohar Joshi, former Chief Minister Shri Sundarlal Patwa, former Chief Ministers Shri Kailash Joshi and Shri Babulal Gaur, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Shiv Sena President Shri Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, leaders of industry including Shri Kumar Manglam Birla, Shri Anil Ambani, Shri Abhay Firodiya etc, national level sportspersons and media barons.

Before oath-taking ceremony, noted Sufi singer Shri Kailash Kher left the audience spell-bound with his soulful performance. After the ceremony, bhajan singher Shri Anoop Jalota thanked the Chief Minister through devotional songs.

Arrival of VVIPs to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of Shri Chouhan had begun a day before. After the ceremony, Shri Chouhan expressed gratitude to all VIPs and massive gathering before the ceremony. He took oath after seeking blessings from representatives of religions sitting on the stage.
