Zakia Jafri could access the SIT report on Gujrat riots

AHMEDABAD: On Wednesday court ruled that within a month Zakia Jafri should be given a copy of the special investigation team (SIT) report on the 2002 Gujarat riots cases.
The court acknowledges the right of Zakia Jafri to access the SIT report. Zakia Jafri was seeking the SIT report in the Gulbarg Housing society massacre case.
Jafri should get a copy of the SIT report, along with all other relevant documents in the case, by March 15, said the court.
But according to the Ahmedabad court, social activists Mukul Sinha and Teesta Setalvad would not be given copies of the SIT report. “They don’t have locus standi in the case.”
