Vidhan Sabha Winter Session Commences Today

Bhopal  –  The winter session of the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha gets underway on Monday, several key Bills are likely to be tabled during the 12 day schedule that concludes on November 27.

The session is also likely to witness unruly scenes with the main Opposition Congress refreshing attacks on the BJP state government over key issues like health and power.

Analysts say political skirmishes could reach a feverish pitch, especially as the session comes in the midst of preparations for civic body polls in the state.

298 of the 358 civic bodies in the state go to the hustings on December 11 and 14.
