Uterus of several women removed, JSY on hold

JAIPUR: The state medical and health department has temporarily withdrawn the Janani Suraksha Yojna scheme from four hospitals located in Bandikui area of Dausa, where doctors removed the uterus of several women just for money.

The Janani Suraksha Yojna is a central government scheme for expectant mothers.

“We have terminated the licence of Janani Suraksha Yojna of these hospitals,” said O P Meena Chief medical and health officer, Dausa.
