Two Lashkar Terrorists Killed in Gunfight

Two Lashkar terrorists have been shot dead in a fierce gunfight with security forces in a forest area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, said media reports citing police.
According to report, after receiving a tip-off that terrorists are hiding n Baji Mahal forest in Dharamsal, policemen headed by Additional SP of Nowshera RK Bhat cordoned off the area and began search operation with the assistance of 60, 63 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 8 Maha Regiment personnel early in the morning.
Terrorists opened fire on the search party and hurled grenades, said reports.
The search party was tracing the group of seven to eight terrorists who had intruded into Indian side and taken shelter in the area
Troops returned fire which resulted into a fierce gunfight in which two LeT terrorists were killed, said reports citing police.
The operation was still on when the last reports came in from the area.
