Two Killed, Nine Injured as Tractor-Trolley Collides with Crane

In a road mishap, two persons were killed and nine others injured as a tractor-trolley carrying them turned turtle after colliding with a crane at Kothari village near Ashta, said police.

PTI reported citing police that the accident occurred on Sunday night when the victims were on their way back to Kothari village from Indore after taking part in a religious function.

Police said that the tractor-trolley collided with a crane which was towing a truck at a sharp turn killing Shivnarayan Khati (58) and Ghasiram Khati (55), both of Kothari village, on the spot.

The report said that four critically injured have been referred to Sehore district hospital, while the others are undergoing treatment at Ashta Hospital.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on, said report.
