On Sunday Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa will reach to Delhi for further consultations with the BJP central leadership in the wake of Governor H. R. Bhardwaj sanctioning his prosecution over alleged land scams.

B. S. Yeddyurappa said he would meet with the party’s leaders to discuss the “attitude of our Governor”, before leaving for the national capital.

The party’s Lok Sabha and Rajya members from the State, along with BJP central leaders, are scheduled to meet President Pratibha Patil to complain about the Governor on Monday.

On Saturday, Yeddyurappa maintaining an aggressive posture had ruled out his resignation, following the Governor’s sanction for prosecution and vowed to fight the issue politically and legally.
