Three Militants Killed in J&K Gunfight, Identified as Pakistani Nationals

In a gunfight lasting nearly 12 hours, four militants and three security personnel have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, reported ANI.

All the three militants were identified as Pakistani nationals and a diary, recovered from them by security personnel, disclosed their identity as Abu Zarar, Abu Abdullah, Abu Shoaib and Abu Osama, said report.

In addition, security personnel found the food supplies that the militants had brought with them, report said.

Report said that they all had Pakistani registration mark, making it further clear that they all had come from across the border.

They are suspected to have come to India in groups and split later in three teams, for Rajouri district witnessed three encounters in the last 48 hours, report said.

In the gunfight in Rajouri district, four militants and three security personnel were killed, while the second encounter occurred at Dharamshall which ended as terrorists fled back to the Pakistani side, said report, adding a policeman was injured.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the encounter between security forces and militants is on in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kolian area, said report.
