Saif may face seven year imprisonment

MUMBAI: Saif Ali Khan the actor got into a scuffle last night when in a five star hotel pub he apparently punched a man in his face and broke his nose.

A case under section 325 of the IPC has been registered against Saif. The actor may face seven year imprisonment in the issue if arrested and convicted for physical assault.

Incident occurred when he, along with Kareena, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora Ladak and a few friends, were having dinner at Wasabi restaurant of Taj Hotel.

Iqbal Sharma, Deputy DG, Trade and investment SA, a resident of Juhu, was sitting with his family at an adjourning table. On some matter scuffle occurred between the two.

Iqbal lodged a complaint that Saif and two of his associates assaulted him with fist blows, causing fracture to his nose.

A case has been registered against the actor with the Colaba police station here.
