CM’s fake profile case solved with the help of Interpol

BHOPAL: The boy was arrested from Indore district who created the fake profile of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on social networking site Facebook. He have uploaded cartoons and controversial photos on it to gain popularity.

On Monday the Bhopal SSP Adarsh Katiyar said, the matter came to light some time ago and Chouhan had filed a complaint with the police.

A police team had contacted Facebook’s India office, but when they did not reveal any information citing privacy policies, the Bhopal police sought the help of Interpol following which the site’s head office informed that it was created at an Indore-based cyber cafe.

The police then zeroed in on the cafe and arrested a teenaged boy on Sunday.
