NEW DELHI (IANS): On Thursday India strongly condemning the ‘heinous’ Mumbai attacks, said the terror strikes would not impact the strategic dialogue with the US and peace talks with Pakistan scheduled later this month.

External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna said on the sidelines of his meeting with Burhanuddin Rabbani, chairman of the High Peace Council of Afghanistan and a former Afghan president that, “There is no change in the scheduled visits of Secretary Clinton or the foreign minister of Pakistan.”

He said, “This is yet another grim reminder to everyone in this region and our country that terror is a continuing threat to India and it is necessary for all Indians to be ever vigilant of these terrorist attacks.”

Krishna condemned the “dastardly and heinous attacks on Mumbai” and said the state would do everything within its power to bring the guilty to justice at the earliest.

On Monday the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will touch down in New Delhi on a three-day visit for the second edition of the India-US Strategic Dialogue.

Also the Pakistan’s foreign minister is expected to come here for talks July 26-27.
