Pakistan Blames India for Fomenting Terror

Continuing its rhetoric, Pakistan has said that India’s involvement in Lahore terror attack cannot be ruled out and that it has handed evidence of that country’s alleged role in fomenting unrest in Balochistan to New Delhi, reported PTI.
Talking to reporters in Islamabad, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that New Delhi’s involvement in the last week’s attack on a special investigation unit in Lahore cannot be ruled out, said report.
Also, the minister said that probe was on to identify the ‘real culprits’ behind these heinous acts, said reports.
Malik also hinted that attack could be carried out by the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, report said.
He said that the Tehrik-e-Taliban is an ‘anti-state organisation’ engaged in acts of terrorism in the country, said report.
In the meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told media persons in his hometown of Multan that Islamabad had provided evidence of India’s alleged involvement in creating unrest in Balochistan to New Delhi through diplomatic channels, report said.
In response to a query about the possibility of India’s involvement in Lahor attacks, Qureshi said that the matter would be raised at the suitable forum if proof was found of such a link, said report.
He said that Pakistan also took up the matter of sharing of river waters with India during the foreign secretary level talks and the issue would be raised in all future bilateral meetings, report said.
