Pak Will Discuss All Issues of Conflict with India: Bashir

February 24, 2010 Visionmp.com news service

Ahead of crucial talks with India tomorrow, Pakistan has expressed its willingness to discuss all issues of conflict between the two countries but said that the main focus of talks would be on Kashmir, reported Zee News.

“We want to discuss all issues with India including terrorism but our main priority will be Kashmir”, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir was quoted as saying by news channels.

However, Bashir undermined India’s concerns on terrorism and said, “India must understand that terrorism is now an international issue.”

The statement from Pakistan came a day after Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao made it clear that the upcoming Indo-Pak talks would mainly focus on terrorism among other issues.

Bashir is scheduled to hold the much-publicised talks with his Indian counterpart in New Delhi tomorrow.
