Obama turned 50

CHICAGO: The US President Barack Obama is celebrating his 50th birthday today He’s turning fifty years old.

President Obama is the sixth Commander-in-Chief to turn fifty while in office, with the most recent being Bill Clinton.

Mr. Obama began celebrating early by attending a birthday fundraiser in Chicago last night.

“It’s true that I turn fifty tomorrow, which means that by the time I wake up I’ll have an email from AARP asking me to call President Obama and tell him to protect Medicare.” – Obama

Later tonight he’ll attend a dinner party at the White House with family and friends, including some in town from Chicago.
