Normal Flight Operations Begin from India

With opening of European airports almost after a week, normal flight operations of domestic as well as international airlines have started from India to western countries, reported PTI.

Air India today resumed its normal flight services on sectors such as Delhi-London-Delhi, Delhi-Frankfurt-Delhi, Mumbai-London -Mumbai, Delhi-New York-Delhi, Mumbai-New York-Mumbai, Mumbai-Chicago-Mumbai, Amritsar-London-Toronto-London-Amritsar and Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Newark-Mumbai, report said.

For clearing the backlog of passengers, AI will tomorrow operation an additional Mumbai-London -Mumbai flight with Boeing 747-400, which was used by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his trip to Brazil, said report.

AI yesterday restarted its European operations with the launch of its dailies from Delhi to Paris and Frankfurt, report said.

While, Jet Airways restarted its operations to London from Delhi and Mumbai and re-launched its hub operations at Brussels, said report.

It would now connect Newark and Toronto with Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai through Brussels.
