My Son Doesn’t Need Anyone’s Clean Chit: Mahesh Bhatt

Noted filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has said that he is hurt with the reports about his son and that his son doesn’t need a clean chit from anyone.
Bhatt was upset over reports attributed to security agencies that they have not cleared his son Rahul of any wrongdoing in connection with his dealings with terror suspect David Headley.
“I have read news reports attributed to security agencies wherein they have said that Rahul has not been given a clean chit for his Headley connection. I am deeply hurt. He is a true and responsible Indian who himself volunteered to share the information with the agencies. Rahul’s heart is clear and he doesn’t require any clean chit from anyone,” Bhatt was quoted as saying PTI.
He also accused the security agencies of not keeping their word and leaking selective information to the media.
“We were asked to maintain silence, but see now what is happening,” he added.
