MP ATS to Quiz IM Suspect in Delhi

Bhopal  –  The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad will investigate possible connections that suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorist Salman Ahmed may have had in the state, said media reports citing a top ATS official on Tuesday.

According to media reports, a state ATS team will soon quiz Salman (21) who is presently in the custody of Delhi police.

The police will question Salman alias Chhotu to know if he had visited the state and had connections with any persons here, added the reports.

The Uttar Pradesh ATS had recently arrested Salman from Siddharth Nagar district not far from the Indo-Nepal border.

Presently in the custody of Delhi police, Salman, a resident of Sanjarpur in Azamgarh district, carried a reward of Rs one lakh.
