MP Agro earned a profit of Rs. 36 lakh 72 thousand for the first time

BHOPAL (MPINFO): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that history can be changed with determination. The State Government has turned corporations and boards suffering losses into profit-making undertakings. He congratulated entire team of MP Agro for earning Rs. 36 lakh 72 thousand profit for the first time.

Agro Industries Development Corporation Chairman Ramkishan Chauhan, Principal Secretary M.M. Upadhyay and Managing Director Rakesh Shrivastava presented a cheque of dividend to Chief Minister Chouhan on the occasion.

The Chairman of MP Agro informed the Chief Minister that the corporation transacted business worth Rs. 1017 crore during financial year 2010-11.

This is twice more than the business worth Rs. 525 crore 73 lakh transacted last year. He informed that by the second quarter, the corporation has transacted business worth Rs. 950 crore against the target of Rs. 1100 crore for the year 2011-12.

He informed that a decision has been taken at the 41st annual general body meeting of the corporation to provide 17.724 percent dividend to its shareholders.
