Mayors, Nagar Palika Presidents Meet on January 21

Bhopal  –  13 Mayors and civic bodies of district headquarters will meet to discuss an 11 point agenda at the Academy of Administration in the state capital January 21. The convention was originally scheduled for Jan. 18.
The agenda for the convention includes sanitation, drinking water, roads and revenue collection.

Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur will preside over the convention and outline a three-month developmental roadmap to be undertaken by civic bodies.

Mayors of all municipal corporations in the state, presidents of civic bodies of district headquarters, commissioners of municipal corporations, chief municipal officers and engineers will attend the meeting and take back the development plan to subsequent conventions of presidents of Nagar Panchayats and rest of the civic bodies.

These meetings held at concerning district headquarters will be presided over by Mayors and presidents of civic bodies. The dates for the same will be announced later.
