Manmohan Singh congratutes Park geun-hye on win in S Korea polls
Seoul: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has congratulated Park Geun-hye on her “historic victory” in the recent Presidential elections in South Korea and said he looked forward to working with her government in strengthening bilateral ties.
The Prime Minister noted that India and South Korea had established a Strategic Partnership, based on convergent interests and expanding opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation, which had provided a strong foundation for deepening and broadening bilateral engagement, especially in trade and investment.
Singh added that he looked forward to working with Park and her government in pursuit of that goal, the embassy statement said.
