Maken extended the hand of help for Yuvraj

NEW DELHI: Hearing the news of Yuvraj’s cancer and treatment in US, whole country was in a state of shock. But the good news is that Yuvraj is recovering and expectedly will be able to play matches from May.

Sports Minister Ajay Maken has assured that government will help the cricketer Yuvraj Singh currently being treated in States.

Last night on Twitter Maken wrote, “Wish Yuvraj a speedy recovery! Asking officials to find the quantum and nature of help required. Government shld & will help him.”

Family sources said that the 30-year-old left-hander cricketer has been in US since last month being treated for what was earlier claimed to be a tumour in the lungs. But it has now been diagnosed as malignant and Yuvraj is currently undergoing chemotherapy in the Cancer Research Institute in Boston.
