Bhopal — The breathtaking landscape at Indira Gandhi National Museum for Mankind in the state capital came alive with a Santoor and Flute ‘Jugalbandi’ presented by Shruti Adhikari and Chetan Joshi, the duo was accompanied by Hitendra on the Tabla.

The recital, part of the two day classical music extravaganza underway at the museum, started with the calming yet joyous Raga Yaman and gradually guided the audience through a range of intricate emotions before reaching a soft and soulful crescendo.

The harmonious presentation by Bhopal based Adhikari, the first female Santoor player in the country, and Bokaro based Chetan Joshi set the stage for a “dhrupad’ rendition by the Gundecha brothers, scheduled for 1900 hours at the museum’s Veethi Sankul auditorium on Friday.
