Madani in, Investigations on, Judiciary to Decide: K’taka DGP

A day after PDP leader Abdul Naseer Madani was arrested from Kerala for alleged involvement in the Bangalore serial blasts, Karnataka police chief Ajai Kumar Singh said, “We have succeeded in bringing Madani to Karnataka.”

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Singh said, “Investigation will continue and in case any other person is found involved, we will arrest them too.” He said except the Bangalore blasts, no other case is pending against the PDP chief in Karnataka.

Responding to queries over whether the police would be able to prove charges against the accused, Singh said that investigation is underway and it was for the judiciary to decide.

Singh further expressed gratitude to Kerala police officials for their support.
