Judicial custody of A Raja extended till March 17

NEW DELHI: Judicial custody of former Telecom Minister A Raja has been extended till March 17 by a Delhi court on Thursaday and three others also, arrested for their alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

After hearing their arguments a special CBI Judge O P Saini extended the judicial custody of the trio. Raja appeared before the court through video conferencing while his former Personal Secretary R K Chandolia, former Telecom Secretary Siddarth Behura and Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa were present in person after the expiry of their judicial custody.

As CBI said the investigation into the case was not complete, the judge said, “All three accused are remanded to judicial custody till March 17.”
