Joint Forces Nab Ulfa Militant in Assam

Security forces have nabbed an Ulfa militant from Goalpara district of Assam and recovered a cache of explosives and guns, say media reports citing police on Monday.

The militant, identified as Donjison Rabha, was apprehended during a joint operation launched by the army and police in Krishnai area of the district, said PTI news agency.

According to reports attributing the information to police, three Improvised Explosive Device (IED)’s, two grenades and 20 AK-series ammunition have been recovered from Rabha, an operative of Ulfa’s dreaded 109 battalion.
