Chhattisgarh Govt Transfers Dantewada SP, 11 IPS Officers

Nearly two months after massacre of 76 security personnel by Maoists, Chhattisgarh government has transferred Superintendent of Police of Dantewada district in addition to 14 other officials, said media reports.

According to reports, the state government transferred 11 IPS officers including Dantewada SP Ambrish Mishra and four s state level policemen acting on the recommendations of the Rammohan Committee.

On April 6, Naxalites had killed 75 CRPF personnel and a police officer.

The Committee appointed by the Union Home ministry and headed by Rammohan, former DGP of Border Security Force, had fixed the responsibility for the lapse on these police officials.
