Alia Bhatt is all set to impress fans with her next film Gully Boy, where she plays a possessive girlfriend. The clips from the film have gone viral, and fans are looking forward to seeing Alia in a new light.
However, Alia, who is dating Ranbir Kapoor in real life, revealed to a portal that she is not at all possessive girlfriend in real life. “I am not at all a possessive girlfriend. It is about giving a free hand to your partner because I have been bought up in a way where we give space to each other. We are very trustworthy and loyal and we expect and believe the same out of the other relationships in our life,” she said.
She added that possessiveness is a wasted emotion. “As far as jealousy is concerned, everyone must have felt it during their school days but now that time is gone. There is no need to be possessive in life because I think it’s a wasted emotion.
As 2018 saw some beautiful Bollywood weddings, everyone is waiting for Alia and Ranbir to announce her nuptials. At a recent Gully Boy promotional event, Alia said, “I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later.”
Last year, Ranbir and Alia made their relationship public. Their entrance at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception made headlines. After that Ranbir revealed that he was dating Alia, and that it was “too new” to talk about. Later Alia said that Ranbir was the one for her.
“I have stars and a halo on my head, and I’m walking around with rainbows. I like to keep it simple and sweet,” she had said.
Her film Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor will release in December this year. It is touted to be a sci-fi trilogy, and fans are eagerly waiting for her and Ranbir to scorch the screens wit
