GS Chahal Conferred Lifetime Contribution Award in Berlin

Chief Advisor, MP State Tourism Corporation, GS Chahal has been awarded ‘Lifetime Contribution in Tourism Marketing’ by Pacific Area Travel Writer’s Association, said a release.
The international council of PATWA endorsed Chahal’s selection for the prize, which was given away on March 12 during the high-profile ‘World Tourism Leaders’ Summit’ on the theme ‘Agenda for Future Tourism’.
The summit was held in Berlin during the ITB which is the biggest travel-trade international event attended by 190 countries.
Chahal received the award from the Secretary General of UNWTO in the presence of a large gathering of global tourism professionals.
Chahal, who retired from MP Tourism as Executive Director last year after nearly 30 years of service is credited with huge success of MP Tourisms’s ‘Hindustan ka Dil Dekho’ promotional campaigns.
