Doctors can help girl child to survive

BHOPAL: As Madhya Pradesh working on ‘Beti bachao abhiyan’ these days, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said doctors can play an important part in changing people’s mindset about the daughters.

CM said this while addressing a gathering of representatives of various doctors’ associations of Bhopal on Sunday.

Chouhan said daughters were not inferior in any respect. A convention of various doctors’ associations of the state will be held under ‘beti bachao abhiyan’ at CM House on October 30.

The representatives assured the CM they would give their cooperation for this noble campaign. Chouhan lauded the doctors’ efforts by getting involved in this campaign.

About 200 representatives of various doctors’ associations of the state will take part in the convention. They would pledge against embryo killings.

The ‘beti bachao abhiyan’ is going on in MP from October 5.
