Convene Poor in Each Assembly Constituency: CM

Bhopal  –  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Thursday said conventions of poor people would be organised in each Assembly constituency in the State, he was addressing Divisional Commissioners, Collectors and other district officials through video conferencing.

People living below the poverty line, workers employed in the unorganised sector, handcart-pullers and working women would participate in these conventions.

Information pertaining to various welfare schemes for poor people would be disseminated at these conventions.

Chief Secretary Avani Vaishya, Principal Secretaries and Secretary to Chief Minister, Anurag Jain were present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that actual benefits of welfare schemes reach the poor people through these conventions. He directed the district Collectors to make preliminary preparations for the same.
