Novel initiative of people-Govt. dialogue to be taken in state

Bhopal. Various programmes will be held for dialogue between people and government in October-November in the state. Programmes to give information about development during last one decade will be held from Gram Panchayat to state level. This was informed at a meeting chaired Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa was also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that through programmes, direct dialogue should be established between common people and the government. Extension of government’s welfare schemes to every family will be ensured. Common people will be apprised of development works undertaken in their areas during last decade. Information about vision document for next 10 years will also be given. Works for door-step delivery of benefits to eligible benefiaries should be undertaken as a drive during it. Every person has right over assistance from government. This right should be provided to every family in the state. effective efforts should be made in this direction. He said that conventions of beneficiaries of self-employment scheme should be held in all districts.

Shri Chouhan said that during Garib Kalyan Varsh, livelihood of every poor family under centralized action plan, infrastructure, social security and houses for all should be implemented. He said that Antyodaya Melas should be held timely. Melas should be used as a platform to benefit beneficiaries and apprise them about government schemes.

It was informed that Garib Kalyan Varsh will be observed from September 25, 2015 to September 25, 2016 to mark birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Under houses for all scheme, houseless families in villages and urban areas will be provided pucca houses with toilets.
