I don’t know how to describe it: Nick Jonas on his first appearance at the MET Gala with Priyanka Chopra

After a lot of questions, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally tied the knot last December to shell out some serious couple goals for us. Whether it’s their adorable candid pictures or their social media PDA, NickYanka are fab. What began at the MET Gala 2017, the duo are all set to arrive in style this year too, but as members of the Benefit Committee. While we wait for May 6, Nick opened up about it during the promotions of Ugly Dolls.

Speaking to E!News, Nick said, “That was one of our first dates…but it wasn’t even really a date, I don’t know how to describe it.” Speaking about being a part of the Benefit Committee along with his ladylove, he adds, “That’s kind of an important thing for us, MET Gala, historically speaking, so to be on the committee this year is great.”

Taking to Instagram, PeeCee had earlier written, “From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time to meeting my husband and many friends for life…Nick and I are honoured to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday in May.”

During the promotions of Ugly Dolls, Nick was also quizzed on children. He reveals that the couple are looking at projects that they can share with their kids some day. “I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we about the future. And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future.”

While Ugly Dolls releases on May 3, the Desi Girl will next be seen in The Sky Is Pink that also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles.

Coming back to the Gala; after walking for Ralph Lauren in 2017, we can’t wait to see whether the lovebirds will stick to their favourite designer for their appearance at the event this year too. Stay tuned to find out.
