Cong Demands Judicial Probe into RSS Activist’s Death

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has accused RSS of possessing a horde of illegal arms and insisted on a judicial inquiry into the death of a Sangh activist during ‘Sashtra Puja’ on Dussehra after a firearm went off.

In a statement, MPCC General Secretary Jaipal Singh said that the RSS has a huge cache of unlicensed arms. He also demanded the judicial probe into the death of Naresh Motwani.

“The judicial inquiry will bring to the fore whether the RSS activist died accidentally or he was killed,” he said.

Singh claimed that though two days had passed since Motwani’s death, the gun which killed him was yet to be recovered.

Under the BJP government in the state, the RSS was indulging in “unlawful activities” in the educational institutions of the state, he said.

Singh said that the RSS members had openly displayed arms publicly on Dusshera across the state.
