Center-WB-GJM Tripartite Talks on Tuesday

Hoping to find an amicable solution to the demand of statehood Gorkhaland, representatives from the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha and the West Bengal government are scheduled to meet Home Secretary GK Pillai for tripartite talks in New Delhi on Tuesday.

 

Pillai will chair the third round of talks, GJM will be represented by a 12 member delegation headed by Amar Lama.

 

Deciding to stay away from the parleys, GJM chief Bimal Gurung and Roshan Giri will be maintaining a strict watch over the developments in the national capital.

 

They say Lama is already in New Delhi with all documents required to register the demand for Gorkhaland in accordance with provisions of the constitution.
