Can’t imagine Mr. India-2 without ‘Mogambo’ : Shekhar Kapoor

Mumbai.  Renowned  filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has admitted that he can’t think of a sequel to “Mr.India” without the actor. Remembering Bollywood’s Mogambo in his 80th birthday Kapur tweeted, “Amrish Puri left an indelible mark on Indian cinema. Can’t think of ‘Mr India 2′ without him. We miss him,” Kapur tweeted on the actor’s birth anniversary Friday.
The sequel to Boney Kapoor’s 1987′s super hit film ‘Mr. India’ will be made in 3D. The film will star Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles.
Boney Kapoor has roped in foreign technicians to do the special effects for the sequel to this science fiction film which has been tentatively titled ‘Mr India 2′. The film however, will go on floors after the release of ‘No Entry 2′ in 2012 and is expected to hit the theatres in November 2014.
Boney is also yet to finalize the script and the director, but Shekhar Kapoor, who directed the original ‘Mr. India’ will surely be involved in the project according to the producer.
