Budget Session an Opportunity to Showcase Government Works: CM
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Vidhan Sabha budget session was the appropriate opportunity to make public aware of public welfare and development works. He said that the Parliament was also made aware of the achievements of the government through the different modes of Vidhan Sabha. Shri Chouhan was reviewing the preparations of the forthcoming Vidhan Sabha budget session at the Mantralaya today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Vidhan Sabha decided the accountability of the government. Complete information with utmost seriousness and care should be made available to the Vidhan Sabha. All information should be sent within the time limit. Information should include facts and analysis. He directed to ensure that the bills to be presented in the forthcoming session in the Vidhan Sabha should be presented within the prescribed time limit.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reviewed the preparations after a discussion with principal secretaries of 50 departments. He reviewed department wise pending zero-hour, questions obtained, assurance and clauses of the accounts committee.
