BJP Says Krishna-Krishna for Bhopal, Indore Mayoral Posts

Bhopal  –  The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday evening declared its list of candidates for the 13 mayoral positions in Madhya Pradesh. The list includes six woman leaders with close family ties in the party.

As per the list, Krishna Gaur – daughter-in-law of Urban Development Minister Babulal Gaur will contest the mayoral position in the state capital – Bhopal while former MP Krishna Murari Moghe will contest Indore.

Bhavna Shah – wife of SC-ST Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, will be in the fray for the party in Khandwa.

Madhuri Patel – wife of sitting Burhanpur Mayor Atul Patel – replaces her husband as the party candidate in the segment.

Babli Yadav – wife of former corporator Narendra Yadav will represent the party for the Dewas mayoral seat.

Sameeksha Gupta (Gwalior) and Suman Ahirwar (Sagar) also have family links to the party.

The other candidates include Alka Jain (Katni), Prabhat Sahu (Jabalpur), Raj Kumar Mishra (Satna), Shivendra Singh Patel (Rewa), Kantidev Singh (Singrauli) and Shailendra Daga (Ratlam).
