Be courteous to people visiting police stations : Home Minister
Bhopal: Home Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta has said that behaviour of police personnel should be cordial with people visiting police stations. The Home Minister was reviewing law & order situation at a meeting with Rewa zone police officers at Singrauli today.
The Home Minister said that it is necessary for effective working that senior officers establish relations with subordinate staff based on credibility and trust. He said that there should be regular meetings at police stations with public representatives and common people. At the meeting, IG Rewa Range Dr. G.R. Meena informed that the police is increasing interaction with people by organising various cultural programmes and sports competitions in villages. All the SPs of Rewa range were present at the meeting.
