Assembly Polls in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal on Oct 13

Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh would go to polls on October 13, announced the Election Commission on Monday.

Informing media persons in New Delhi, Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla, together with the other two commissioners, provided details of assembly elections in the three states.

October 22 has been fixed as day of counting.

The model code of conduct in the aforementioned states comes into effect from today, said Chawla.
