Accident Kills Nine on Bhopal Outskirts

Bhopal: At least nine people were killed and several others injured when the jeep they were traveling in was involved in a collision with a truck in the Obaidullahganj area on the outskirts of the State capital on Sunday afternoon.
The vehicles crashed at the Shahganj traffic intersection on NH 12.
Six of the nine deceased were later identified as Shalabh Tiwari, Anubha, Ram Lal, Shafique, Amit Yadav and Qayyum while efforts were underway to ascertain the identities of the remaining three.
Three of the injured were named as Kalpana, Ahsan Mohammad and Dinesh. A case has been registered and further investigations are continuing.
