80,000 page long CBI report targeted 12 big names: 2G scam

NEW DELHI: On Saturday the CBI filed a chargesheet in the 2G spectrum allocation scam. In the 80,000 pages long chargesheet the bureau has named 12 accused which includes all the documents and annexure.
All were brought in seven steel trunks to Patiala House court.
In the report CBI has also named Gautam Doshi, Saurabh Papadiya, Hari Nayar, Sanjay Chandra and three big companies, Unitech, Reliance Communications and Swan Telecom, besides the former telecom minister A Raja, former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura, Raja’s former personal assistant RK Chandolia, and the telecom promoter Shahid Balwa.
In the complete chargesheet there are name of 125 witnesses and 654 documents mentioned.
All the accused have been booked under sections 120 B, 468, 471, 420 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code. A Raja has been charged of criminal conspiracy, forgery, cheating and corruption.
