25 Injured as Train Engine Rams into Bogie

At least 25 people were injured in a rail mishap when an engine being attached to Chirmiri-Rewa train collided with a bogie in Shahdol.
According to reports, the incident occurred at 2200 hrs last night at the Shahdol railway station as the engine driver could not maintain control over the speed of the locomotive thus striking in the bogie and causing injuries to passengers lying on the upper berth, who fell due to the jolt.
“The injured travellers were treated by the railway and government doctors at the station itself while five seriously injured passengers were admitted in the disrict hospital,” sources said.
Later, the train left for its onward journey at its scheduled time
